Fundraisers from the Lowestoft-based Lauren Lou appeal, which continues to raise money and awareness in aid of cancer charities and local deserving causes, have been boosted by a collection and tombola.
On Monday (October 30), the Team Lauren Lou cancer fundraising group held a tombola inside Lloyds Bank in Lowestoft and a collection in the town centre with a Halloween-based theme as funds were raised for Breast Cancer Care.
Gary Bennett, from Team Lauren Lou, said: 'What an amazing day we had raising £378.28 but if Lloyds Bank agree to match fund that total will be doubled. An amazing gesture from Lloyds Bank and thank you to their manager Vikki Twomlow for inviting us into the bank. Thanks to the kind staff who dressed up and thank you to their very kind donating customers.
'Thank you to all my volunteers who collected all day and three dressed up in costume to give the Halloween theme feel.'
