Fundraisers from the Lowestoft-based Lauren Lou appeal, which continues to raise money and awareness in aid of cancer charities and local causes, have been boosted by a recent collection.
On Tuesday, November 15, funds were raised for Cancer Research UK as a street collection and table top sale was held in Lowestoft town centre.
With £466.04 raised for Cancer Research UK, Gary Bennett, of Team Lauren Lou, said: 'Thank you to Lowestoft Vision and Waveney District Council's street licensing for the respective permissions.
'A massive thank you to the very kind donating public and my awesome volunteers who stood out in the cold for four hours to raise this superb amount!' 'I am so proud of everyone concerned – thank you all so much,' Mr Bennett added.
