A health information day for people with learning disabilities is being held this week.
Organised as part of Learning Disabilities Week 2017, a learning disability information day will be held at the James Paget University Hospital in the Burrage Centre, Gorleston on Wednesday, June 21 between 10am and 5.30pm.
This year's health focus will be #getthenationsigning and autism awareness in addition to information on a variety of health related issues including healthy living, nutrition, exercise and many more. Interactive displays, exhibitions, live entertainment and a tour of the hospital also feature. Exhibitors and health professionals, who are passionate about improving services for people who matter, are joining together to offer advice, guidance and answer questions on lots of different health concerns.
Admission is free, there will be parking and refreshments available.
