I WOULD like to take this opportunity to thank the following local businesses who donated raffle prizes for the Halloween on Fire II charity rock concert, held at The Brewery Tap, Oulton Broad, on Saturday, November 3.

The Brewery Tap, Asda Lowestoft, Morlings, Beach Radio, Ipswich Town FC, Norwich City FC, B&Q Lowestoft, Screens Printing, Lowestoft Bowl, Tesco Gunton, Rainbow Carlton Colville, Morrisons Lowestoft.

Their support and that of the brilliant people who turned up in an array of fancy dress, helped the day raise nearly £1,000 for Help an East Coast Child and Jump local charities.

A huge amount of thanks goes to the local bands who donated their wonderful skill and time for nothing. They were Detox/Luxury Junkies, Depth, Untold, Ugly Feet, Jokari, Amagi and Six Degrees of Separation who planned and organised the event.

A big thanks to Stu and Jo, who with their staff catered for everybody's needs, plus all those who attended and enjoyed nearly eight hours of entertainment and left exhausted but well satisfied after a wonderful day.

Grateful thanks to all.
