Fun for all the family will be in store next weekend as a popular event returns.
Lound's third village fete, scarecrow trail and fun day will be held next Saturday, June 23.
Sally Popham, chairman of Lound Village Hall and recreation committee, said: 'What started two years ago as an idea to involve the local community has turned into an annual feature, building each year and attracting many positive comments from villagers and visitors.'
With villagers busy planning their 'music' themed scarecrows for this year, the popular trail will see visitors take a gentle countryside stroll around the village before voting for their favourite scarecrow.
The village fete runs from 10am to 4pm, with donkey rides, bouncy castles, a petting zoo and new attractions. Classic cars and bikes will also line up alongside lots of stalls, activities, games, face painting and much more. A free treasure hunt will be held, with Waveney Brass starting the evening entertainment at 7pm, followed by The Direbolix performing Irish, Country and Rock and Roll.
