Members met at the United Reformed Church Hall for their monthly meeting which was opened by the president Jean Pinkney who welcomed all members. Minutes of the August meeting were read out, agreed and signed off.
Members met at the United Reformed Church Hall for their monthly meeting which was opened by the president Jean Pinkney who welcomed all members. Minutes of the August meeting were read out, agreed and signed off. Apologies were given from those members unable to attend and birthday button holes were given out to members whose birthdays fall during September, a special bouquet and card was presented to June Codling who with her husband will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Correspondence was read out, after all the business was settled members sat back and enjoyed an hour of entertainment by the Autumn Airs singing group, it was very light hearted and all members enjoyed it, by joining in with some of the songs, a vote of thanks was given by Josie Timbers. The exhibit table was 'my favourite show program', 1st Ena Howes, 2nd Norma Larkins and 3rd Barbara Floyd. The raffle was drawn.
