Fifteen members had attended a social evening at Harleston Wine Club, and in the wine classes some of the members were successful. Len Allen gained a first and two second places, Beryl Rooke gained two second places and Bob White gained a third place.
Members and guests went on a mystery coach/walk on June 24. They finished at a pub for refreshments.
Announcements were made about a forthcoming garden party on July 4, the theme to be stars and stripes as it is American Independence Day.
The evening continued with a club auction, with many interesting items up for sale, the auctioneer was John Rooke.
Monthly competition results for white or golden wine were: dry, 1 Beryl Rooke, 2 Len Allen, 3 Robin Crowther; sweet, 1 Bob White, 2 Gina Wiles, 3 Pauline Crowther.
