Members of the society have a summer party to look forward to. There is also a performance from Brian Rix on Saturday, June 13, a comedian and also the chairman of Royal Mencap at the Marina Theatre. The veteran actor reminisces about his extraordinary life in aid of Mencap. The society will be holding a regular coffee morning once per month starting from June 9, 10.30am to 12noon). Everyone is welcome to come along and the cost will be 50p per family. This will be held at 20 Suffolk Road, Lowestoft and is open from 9am to 12noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The group are currently seeking new people for the committee. People who can spare two hours a month and help make decisions for the group should contact 01502 539810, there is an answering service when the office is not open.
