Tuesday's meeting was taken up with three displays which proved to be a varied and interesting show for all present. The first, given by club member Mr R Mays, was a display of press items featuring postal covers and stamps of the Royal family which included Princess Diana.

The first, given by club member Mr R Mays, was a display of press items featuring postal covers and stamps of the Royal family which included Princess Diana. The second display was given by the club president John Holmes and covered recent issues of Portugal. John in addition also ran the club draw. The third display was also given by the club president, and featured cards produced for various National Exhibitions by the British Post Office during the 1980s and 1990s.
