Lowestoft arrests after drugs raid
Police have made a number of arrests and seized a quantity of drugs believed to be cocaine, cannabis, ketamine and valium after executing warrants at four addresses in Lowestoft yesterday.
Police have made a number of arrests and seized a quantity of drugs believed to be cocaine, cannabis, ketamine and valium after executing warrants at four addresses in Lowestoft yesterday.
The four properties, all on Normanston Drive, were raided around 9am yesterday with police discovering herbal cannabis, tablets, white powder and brown resin - all believed to be controlled drugs.
Police also seized around �2,000 in cash, a hand held stun gun and counterfeit clothing.
The warrants came as part of a long-term operation to target drug supply in the town.

A total of seven arrests were made with one man facing no further action and six others being bailed pending further enquiries.

A 19-year-old man and a 25-year-old man who were arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine with intent to supply. They have now both been bailed to return to Lowestoft Police Station on December 16.
A 20-year-old woman and a 24-year-old woman who were arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine with intent to supply. They have also been interviewed in connection with abstracting electricity. Both have been bailed to return to Lowestoft Police Station on December 18.
A 34-year-old man arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis with intent to supply who has now been bailed to return to Lowestoft Police Station on December 18.
A 21-year-old man arrested on suspicion of abstracting electricity. He has been bailed to return to Lowestoft Police Station on November 4.
