On Monday, July 27 at Bloodmoor Hill Community Centre members took part in the Bridge Great Britain Summer Simultaneous Pairs competition. The winners of the local heat were Mrs M Yapp and Mrs P Howard who scored 63.
On Monday, July 27 at Bloodmoor Hill Community Centre members took part in the Bridge Great Britain Summer Simultaneous Pairs competition. The winners of the local heat were Mrs M Yapp and Mrs P Howard who scored 63.7 percent. Second were Mr and Mrs Killier with 61.0, third were Mr R and Miss B Shreeve (60.4) and fourth Mr P Whittley and Mr D Thompson (60.2). The event is also scored nationally via the internet and currently Marie Yapp and Phyl Howard are lying in 104th position overall, from 2,800 pairs. There was no bridge on Thursday.
