On Monday, July 20 at Bloodmoor Hill Community Centre the pairs competition was won by Mrs P Howard and Mrs P Bracewell with a score of 60.4 per cent. In second place were Mr and Mrs A Hillier with 59.

Third were Mrs L Browning and Mrs P Bracewell and fourth Mr and Mrs T Yapp. On Thursday at St Mark's the winners were Mr R and Miss B Shreeve with 68.8 per cent. In second place were Mrs J Howitt and Mr B Learner with 63.5 per cent. Third were Mrs S Carver and Mrs G Pocock and fourth Miss S Bultitude and Mr M Taylor.
