In second place were Mr and Mrs P Howlett with 59.6 per cent, followed by Mr P Wills and Mr G Moore in third and Mrs J Howitt and Mr B Learner in fourth. On Thursday at St Mark's the pairs competition was won by Mr and Mrs A Hillier with 61.5 per cent, second were Mr R and Miss B Shreeve with 59.0 per cent, third were Mr and Mrs C Wilderspin and fourth Miss J Jay and Mrs D Rose.
