The morning service will include the first of a new series of sermons entitled Christians in the workplace with thoughts being centred around 'why do we work?' with readings from Psalm 8 and Genesis 1: 24-28. Later in the day the holy communion service will also include the start of a new series of sermons from the Book of James. This week it will be 'standing firm under fire'.
Christ Church continues to be really encouraged to see the numbers of mums and toddlers coming to our Shrimps groups (Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 9.30 to 11.15am) steadily increasing to the extent that they are actively planning to extend the group to a possible third morning initially on a Monday.
