The RAF Regiment Recruitment and Selection Flight (RRRSF) are based at RAF Honington, and have supported Lowestoft College for a number of years – and this course provided youngsters with the opportunity to see what life is like in Armed Forces through a number of challenging activities and lessons. The learners took part in various activities and utilised the equipment that the RAF Regiment use.

Last week, at Lowestoft College in St Peter's Street, level one students from the Uniformed Public Services department took part in a public services incident training session. Their knowledge, communication skills and ability to keep calm and work well under pressure were all put to the test during the session, which saw them co-ordinate various teams and help casualties in the aftermath of an exercise - a bomb explosion.
