POLICE were this week hunting three masked robbers who forced their way into a Lowestoft couple's home in the early hours and stole several hundred pounds in cash.
A man in his early 20s and a woman in her late teens were both injured in the incident in Cambridge Road last Friday. Police say the raiders, who were all wearing dark clothes and balaclavas, called at the house at about 5.10am. One stood by the door while the other two assaulted the couple before stealing the cash and leaving. The victims were taken to the James Paget University Hospital, where the man was treated for face injuries.
One of the attackers was about 6ft and muscular; he was wearing a black Nike Air hooded top.
