There was a mythical feel around Lowestoft when a majestic purple dragon graced the town centre as part of a couple's fundraiser for a national children's charity.
Luna the Dragon is the papier mache creation of Ryan and Chrissy Gant and their twin sons, who are looking to raise money for Barnardo's to thank them for helping Ryan and his former partner adopt the boys.
In a fairy tale written by Ryan, twin princes are protected by a dragon named Luna, who made the trip to London Road North today to aid the fundraising.
Ryan said: 'This our way of giving back to Barnardo's, who help children but also their families as well.
'It's been fascinating to hear so many stories from other people who they have helped.'
From 3pm today, Luna can be found outside Ryan and Chrissy's Sussex Road home, where the castle she protects will be revealed. There will also be a raffle for Barnardo's and donations can be made online at justgiving.com.
