As a Lowestoft taxi firm celebrates its 30th anniversary, the father and daughter who run it say being in business together has brought them closer.
Five 1 Taxis manager Stacey Lock has been in the family firm for 13 years, and said: 'My dad is still at the forefront of everything and it's absolutely great working together, we have a really close relationship and we don't clash. Business and family sometimes don't go well together but we're quite lucky. It's definitely made us closer.'
'We're a friendly firm, we're a community firm,' said Ms Lock. 'And we're very much aware that our customers are the people that keep us trading so we try and keep them happy.'
Founder John Lock said: 'We try and look after people, and they do a good job. I'm quite proud to reach 30 years, we've got a good team behind us.'
