Firefighters have tackled a spate of incidents across Lowestoft.

A crew from Lowestoft South and one from Lowestoft North attended a van and trailer ablaze in Harbour Road, Oulton Broad about 7.45pm on Saturday evening (January 28). On arrival they found the van and trailer 'completely engulfed in fire,' according to a brigade spokesman, but they quickly put out the flames with the scene cleared by 8.25pm.

Two crews from Lowestoft South and another from Wrentham fire station attended a three-vehicle collision on the A12 Priory Road at Wrentham about 10am on Sunday. A man was cut free from his vehicle following the crash between a Renault Scenic, a Toyota Auris and a Toyota Aygo. A Suffolk police spokesman said those involved had suffered minor injuries.

At 4.19pm on Monday afternoon (January 30) a crew from Lowestoft South spent ten minutes putting out a bin blaze in Sea Lake Road.
