Framed picture stolen from retirement home through open window

An Egyptian-style framed picture was stolen from an open window of a retirement complex in Lowestoft.

Suffolk Police have appealed for information after the burglary at a home in Fiske Gardens, Holton Avenue last week.

The burglary took place between 10.30am on Monday, August 10 and 4.30pm on Tuesday, August 11, and was reported to Suffolk Police on August 14.

A spokesperson for the constabulary said: “Someone reached through an open, ground-floor window of a home in Fiske Gardens, Holton Avenue, and removed an Egyptian-style framed picture.”
