A man has been arrested in connection with drugs offences after being chased down by police.

At around 12pm yesterday, May 22, officers executed a drugs warrant at a property on High Street in Lowestoft under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

A 22-year-old man subsequently attempted to evade police and was pursued by officers on foot for a short distance before being caught.

He was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, before being released under investigation pending further enquiries.

Cash and drugs were both recovered from the scene.
