Libraries to host special events

The Friends of Lowestoft Library will be holding their annual meeting this weekend.

The group’s AGM takes place on Saturday, April 28 at 10.30am at Lowestoft Library in Clapham Road South.

Everyone is welcome to attend the event, which takes place in the upstairs meeting room. There is the chance to hear about the work and achievements of the Friends group at the meeting and find out how you can get involved or help to support the library.

■ Kessingland Library will be holding a quiz night with fish and chips and dessert this Friday, April 27 at 7.30pm.

Doors open at 7pm, with tickets costing £6. There is a specialist round on Fawlty Towers for fans of the 70’s sitcom. All funds raised will go to the Friends of the Library in Kessingland (FOLK).

Please book your ticket in advance from the library at Marram Green in Kessingland.
