Lowestoft Lifeboat reaches stricken vessel
LOWESTOFT Lifeboat has reached a stricken vessel, which had got into difficulties near Southwold.The lifeboat was launched at noon today (Friday) to aid a broken down motor vessel, but as they travelled out to assist the vessel managed to get her engines started once more.

The lifeboat was launched at noon today (Friday) to aid a broken down motor vessel, but as they travelled out to assist the vessel managed to get her engines started once more.
The lifeboat and motor vessel are now on their way back to Lowestoft harbour, and are due to arrive back in town at 2pm.
'It is really a huge relief that this has been dealt with so quickly what with the forecast ahead of 55mph gales,' a lifeboat spokesman said.
