Lowestoft Lifeboat rescues man

A LIFEBOAT crew rescued a man from the Suffolk coast yesterday.At just before 6pm on Thursday emergency services were called to reports of a 20-year-old man in the sea off Lowestoft's south pier who was in difficulties.
A LIFEBOAT crew rescued a man from the Suffolk coast yesterday.
At just before 6pm on Thursday emergency services were called to reports of a 20-year-old man in the sea off Lowestoft's south pier who was in difficulties.
He had first been spotted on the pier, a popular crabbing spot, before falling into the sea where he was bashed against rocks.
The Spirit of Lowestoft lifeboat was dispatched to help him and bring him to shore.

The ambulance service then took the man, who suffered bad cuts, to hospital.
