Lowestoft man charged with robbery

POLICE have charged a 20-year-old Lowestoft man in connection with a robbery at the Co-Op store in Pakefield.Two masked raiders burst into the store in London Road on Tuesday, February 17 and threatened staff with a knife before escaping with an unknown amount of cash.

POLICE have charged a 20-year-old Lowestoft man in connection with a robbery at the Co-Op store in Pakefield.

Two masked raiders burst into the store in London Road on Tuesday, February 17 and threatened staff with a knife before escaping with an unknown amount of cash.

After answering police bail yesterday, Robert Willgoss, of Dell Road in Lowestoft was subsequently charged with robbery.

He is due to appear before Lowestoft Magistrates Court next Tuesday, May 19.
