Lowestoft: Man injured by van's wing mirror
POLICE are trying to trace the driver of a van which failed to stop at the scene of a collision with a pedestrian today (Tuesday).A man was hit on the head by a wing-mirror as he walked near the job centre in Clapham Road South, Lowestoft, shortly after 2pm.
POLICE are trying to trace the driver of a van which failed to stop at the scene of a collision with a pedestrian today (Tuesday).
A man was hit on the head by a wing-mirror as he walked near the job centre in Clapham Road South, Lowestoft, shortly after 2pm.
Paramedics arrived to find the man conscious and breathing. He was fitted with a neck brace and taken to hospital for treatment but was not bleeding.
Enquiries are being made by police to find the driver of the van, which did not stop at the scene.
