A Lowestoft man who breached a suspended sentence order by driving while disqualified has been jailed for 24 months.
Wayne Mills, who has 67 previous convictions, was given a suspended sentence in April last year after he admitted burglary and handling stolen goods.
At Ipswich Crown Court, Mills, 32, of, Hollingworth Road, Lowestoft, admitted driving while disqualified in Clerk's Piece, Beccles, on December 22, driving without insurance, possession of cannabis and breach of the suspended sentence order.
Jailing him for two years Judge Martyn Levett said he had taken an exceptional course by not passing an immediate prison sentence last year and said he had warned Mills of the likely consequences of breaching the order.
Michael Crimp said it Mills' fourth conviction for driving while disqualified. Steven Dyble for Mills said his client committed the latest offence by moving a car a few feet.
