A LOWESTOFT man, who shouted and screamed at phone operators after dialling 999 four times in the space of just a few days, has been charged after admitting breaching his Anti-Social Behaviour Order.
The 41-year-old man has been remanded in custody to appear at Ipswich Crown Court at a later date after admitting breaching his ASBO six times within the past few weeks.
David Dennis, of Green Drive in Lowestoft, was charged with the six breaches yesterday (Wednesday, July 7) and appeared at Lowestoft Magistrates Court where he pleaded guilty.
The charges relate to anti-social behaviour at Green Drive and to making 999 calls to police.
On June 24 he was heard shouting and screaming by residents in Green Drive in contravention of his ASBO. He also called police using 999 on five occasions - on June 25, July 1, July 2 and July 5 - in some cases shouting and screaming down the phone to operators, and misusing the 999 system, again in contravention of his ASBO issued on May 10.
He has now been remanded in custody pending a Crown Court appearance where he will be sentenced.
