A 74-YEAR-OLD man from Lowestoft suffered serious spinal injuries after his moped crashed in Herringfleet.
Emergency crews were called to St Olaves Road just before 12.30pm last Friday after the man came off his blue Piaggio, having apparently hit a kerb. He was taken to the James Paget University Hospital and was later transferred to the Princess Royal spinal injuries unit in Sheffield where he remained in a 'serious but stable' condition yesterday.
