Mayor of Lowestoft Stephen Ardley has been re-elected to serve another term, while Nick Webb was made deputy mayor.
Mr Ardley was unanimously elected at a meeting of the Lowestoft Charter Trustees, after taking on the role on a temporary basis last year following the death of then-mayor Roger Bellham.
Mr Ardley said: “I am very honoured to be the Mayor of Lowestoft once again and to serve the people and communities of the town.
“This is much more than just a civic or ceremonial role and myself and councillor Webb will be tireless in our efforts to promote local businesses, community groups and events.
“Working closely with important organisations such as Lowestoft Rising and Lowestoft Vision, we will at all times be looking to instil a real sense of pride in this wonderful town.
“I was born and raised in Lowestoft and nothing could make me happier than playing my part in efforts to improve and boost where we live.”
He will be raising money for the Lowestoft and District Deaf Association and the Lowestoft Signing Choir as his nominated charities, while Mr Webb will support the Lowestoft Town Pastors.
