There was a warm welcome back to Alan Coleman and Geoff Harding following recent illnesses. Geoff thanked members for their kind support during his illness and reported that he had recently been in touch with Frank Hill, who was now at home and improving. There were also similar reports on Walter Gill and Malcolm Battrick.

Minutes secretary, Ken Renshaw read the minutes of the last meeting, which were agreed and signed. There were no matters arising.

Wally Parnell thanked members who had submitted details for inclusion in the next magazine and asked for more items.

Treasurer, Tim Macer, submitted the latest financial report and social secretary, Ken Renshaw, gave details of future events.

A reminder was given for the club's garden party on August 11 at Parkhill Hotel, and members were requested to bring along cakes, garden produce and plants.

The next meeting is on July 16, when the speakers will be member and wife team, Richard and Jill Mann, their subject being The German Air Defence System of 1944.
