A company specialising in day care for dogs is set to open a brand new facility.
Canine Creche Group - owner of the award-winning Suffolk Canine Creche - has revealed that its latest franchise site will be opening in Lowestoft.
Founded by Candace Rose in 2011, the award-winning group’s aim is to provide care for pets in a safe environment, as an alternative to dogs being left at home on their own while owners go to work.
With four sites already on offer in Suffolk, the new branch on Newcombe Road will soon be opening to give Lowestoft dog owners increased peace of mind as they leave their beloved pooches in the hands of pet professionals.
Day-to-day care will be overseen by Donna White, from Lowestoft, who currently works as a paramedic with the East of England Ambulance Trust, and Mrs Rose was full of praise for the new site’s franchisee.
“Our new franchisee Donna White is a local Lowestoft woman and she is the perfect choice to lead a Canine Creche,” she said.
“Her career as a paramedic makes a her natural care giver and she will ensure that standards are exemplary and safety is a priority. Dogs will be well cared for in her hands.”
Dogs at Suffolk Canine Creche facilities are unkennelled and given a large space in which to exercise, while canine companions are also treated to various fun-filled activities.
For older pooches there are chill out areas and, for puppies, an introduction area is used to integrate them slowly allows them to join the wider group of dogs when they are ready.
Ahead of the Lowestoft centre’s opening, a grand opening event will take place from Noon to 3pm on Saturday, August 11, inviting dog-lovers and their pooches to tour the site.
Mrs Rose added: “We’ve brought new jobs and opportunities to the area, and we have utilised an older building to breathe new life into the area and bring increased footfall.
“Hopefully in turn we can help our new neighbouring businesses, who have been wonderful and welcomed us to the area.”
