A pensioner has been remanded into custody accused of breaching a sexual harm prevention order by loitering outside a Lowestoft school.
Peter Ashford, 66, appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court this morning but did not enter a plea.
He is charged with loitering within 20 metres of Gunton Primary Academy on January 30 of this year.
It would put him in breach of a sexual harm prevention order imposed last month at Great Yarmouth Magistrates Court on January 9.
The Norwich bench denied an application for bail on behalf of Ashford by Annette Hall, due to the “nature and seriousness of the offence”.
Ashford, of Wellington Esplanade in Lowestoft, will appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on February 13 for a case management hearing.
