Residents of Lowestoft are being offered the chance to take the words from their street onto the page as part of a free poetry workshop.
Lines from the Landscape is a free Access Community Trust (ACT) initiative open to all ages.
The second of two sessions is on July 18, at the Enterprise Lounge at Sams Cafe, Bevan Street East and will be led by local poet Dean Parkin.
Budding poets could gain the opportunity to read their poem on stage at the Halesworth Arts Festival
Lee Johnson of ACT said: 'We're incredibly excited about this project, especially as it is being led by an incredibly talented published author and poet from Lowestoft. Plus we have some great prizes.'
All particpants will also get the chance to read their poetry at the Lowestoft Seafront Festival on July 22 or July 23.
