At their final club meeting before the summer break members welcomed guests from Waveney Ladies Probus who were entertained to afternoon tea and a bumper raffle. Guest speaker for the event was Richard Mann who gave an in-depth illustrated presentation of the short but terrifying period when Jack the Ripper was at large in Victorian London. A vote of thanks was proposed by Heather Crowson. The autumn session of the club begins on September 15 with a musical entertainment presented by the Iceni Singers. Meetings are held twice monthly at St Mark's Church Centre, Oulton Broad and new members are always welcome. For more details telephone the secretary on 01502 584088.
