The new leader of Lowestoft's Salvation Army has been revealed.
Major Kathryn Woodhouse has been appointed to lead the Citadel Corps of The Salvation Army in the town.
Ms Woodhouse, who originally hails from Norwich, has moved from her previous role in London to take on the new position.
And she succeeds Lieutenants Adrian and Gemma Allen who have now been appointed to Fakenham and Briston.
The major said: 'Coming back to East Anglia is a bit like coming home and I look forward to working with the people of Lowestoft as together we strive to make a better world for all.'
The Salvation Army operates in 128 countries around the globe, demonstrating Christian principles through practical support to people of all backgrounds and ages.
A spokesman added: 'We help individuals to develop and grow in their personal relationship with God and engage in a programme of practical action to serve the community.'
