Diane Godbold, Barbara Badger and Keith Farman were winners in both rounds of games last week. A feature of the evening was the number of games, just over half, won by a margin of 25 points or less, with the games between Barbara and Gordon Gibbons and between Keith and Colin Clarke finishing 314-313 and 374-373 respectively.

A feature of the evening was the number of games, just over half, won by a margin of 25 points or less, with the games between Barbara and Gordon Gibbons and between Keith and Colin Clarke finishing 314-313 and 374-373 respectively. Colin took the highest word-score of 80 for the now allowed “martians”, among other bonus words played were “artisan” and “retinues”, and challenge survivors included “wite”, “fone”, “hern” and “jinni”.
