Last week saw the club's annual Easter egg tournament, now the only occasion when points rather than wins take the prizes. Top scorer was Barbara Badger with 836 points from the two games, followed by Keith Farman 759 and Geoff Smith 754. The search for points produced a good crop of bonus words led by Dot Gibbons' 93 for 'wiggles' and featuring 'tardies,' 'saluter,' and 'glitzes.' Shorter words included 'amu,' 'jeel,' 'rimy' and 'spile.' Call 01502 511223 for details of the club.
