Tuesday evening was taken up with the joint Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth auction which is held twice a year at alternative. The event enables members of both clubs to meet and to buy and sell unwanted stamps, postcards, albums and anything to do with philately. The event proved to be quite lively, and with over two hundred lots for sale many bargains were to be had. Thirty-eight people attended the auction, many of whom went home happy.

The next meeting will be on Tuesday 21 April at St Mark's Church Hall, Bridge Road, Oulton Broad, at 7.30 pm, and will be a slideshow of Hong Kong airmail stamps. Non-members welcome. Contact 01502 714890 for more information.
