The trial of a 17-year-old boy accused of aggravated burglary at a house in Lowestoft will take place in September.

The teenager, who cannot be named because of his age, appeared at a plea and trial preparation hearing at Ipswich Crown Court via a video link from a detention centre on Thursday (April 11).

He pleaded not guilty to aggravated burglary on March 21 when he is alleged to have entered a house in Stanford Street, Lowestoft with a knife and inflicted grievous bodily harm on a male.

His trial, which is due to last four days, is expected to get underway on September 11.
