Fans will finally get the chance to demonstrate their support for Lowestoft Town as they take on Dulwich Hamlet this evening.

Supporters have been urged to rally for the final five home games of the season since the extent of the Trawlerboys' financial problems was revealed, but good intentions were hampered last Tuesday when their match against Wingate & Finchley was postponed.

A week further down the line, the club will be hoping tonight's 7.45pm kick-off at the Amber Dew Events Stadium will provide them with a much-needed boost. Dulwich currently sit at the top of the Bostik Premier League, but they are also experiencing financial difficulties themselves.

A GoFundMe page has meanwhile been launched with the aim of raising £50,000. In addition, fans are invited to a supporters meeting from 7.30pm this Thursday (March 22), where they can hear more about how the Blues are looking to stave off the threat of financial ruin.

The gates and bar open at 6.15pm tonight.
