Lowestoft Town FC continue their pre season campaign tonight (Wednesday) with a home clash against Ipswich Town U23s.
The Trawlerboys play host to The Blues' U23 side at the Amber Dew Events Stadium, kick off 7.45pm.
Jamie Godbold's men face their third match in less than a week after a 4-0 win over Waveney in the Brian Gallagher Memorial Cup match last Thursday was followed by a 1-0 defeat at home to Soham Town Rangers on Saturday. A Lowestoft Town FC spokesman said: 'Come down and show your support for the lads.'
Ahead of the start of the Southern League Premier Division Central campaign, Lowestoft have four further pre season friendlies lined up after tonight, starting on Saturday, July 21 Gorleston (away); Tuesday, July 24 Norwich United (home); Friday, July 27 Bury Town (away) and Tuesday, July 31 Kirkley (away).
It is understood that the likes of Conor McKendry, Aaron Drinan and Brett McGavin – who were involved with Ipswich's first team in action at Braintree last Saturday – could be in contention for the Blues U23 side tonight.
