A popular tennis club served up a treat as a new coaching scheme was launched.

Lowestoft Town Tennis Club held a free tennis open day, which linked in with the launch of a new coaching scheme aimed at adults and children of all levels.

Club members were on hand to provide refreshments and lots of drinks in sweltering conditions on Saturday. The day started with cardio tennis – keep fit to music, with a tennis theme – while the eight years and under group was coached by two of the coaching team from HUT (Heads Up Tennis).

This was followed by mixed age coaching before another cardio tennis session took place. An adults and children’s fun and games session followed before club members were joined by guests for a free play session.

HUT has partnered with Lowestoft Town Tennis Club to provide daily coaching for all ages and abilities. For more information and a timetable of coaching activities visit www.pitchero.com/clubs/lowestofttowntennis
