A WOMAN who kicked a police officer in the mouth has been fined 200 and ordered to pay 150 to her victim.

Tallulah Sparksman, 19, of High Street, Lowestoft, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer when she appeared before town magistrates on Tuesday.

The court heard Sparksman kicked the officer after he attended a 999 call reporting a man and woman were shouting and screaming in the street.

Richard Mann, mitigating, said Sparksman had been binge drinking at the time of the assault and going through personal problems. However, she was remorseful and hoped she would never appear in court again.
