Free cancer information and support is being offered in three Suffolk towns.

A team of specialists from Macmillan Cancer Support will be taking their mobile bus to Lowestoft, Beccles and Eye next week.

The bus will be parking up outside WHSmiths in London Road North, Lowestoft, on Monday, May 21, Blyburgate car park in Beccles on Tuesday, May 22 and Eye Health Centre in Castleton Way, Eye on Wednesday, May 23.

Each visit will run from 9am to 4pm.

Wendy Marchant, cancer information specialist at Macmillan, said: 'Talking about your cancer may feel difficult at times. You may think it's not worthwhile or you may worry about making someone feel uncomfortable. But putting your fears or concerns into words can help you, and others, make sense of difficult situations and feel more in control.

'Some people don't want to share their feelings about cancer though, or its treatment, and that is fine too. Be open with your friends and family about when it's hard to talk.'
