Majority of schools close across Waveney once more

With forecasters warning that high winds, possible snowfall and freezing temperatures are set to continue today (Friday), the majority of schools across Waveney have closed once more.

Ormiston Denes Academy in Lowestoft has partly opened today, with optional study lessons for students in years 10 and 11 between 10.30am and 2.30pm. The school is however closed for students in all other years.

All other schools in the district have closed in the continuing poor weather as journeys have been affected with conditions too dangerous.

The following is a list of schools in the Waveney area that have closed, according to Suffolk County Council's school closures website.
