Man acosts 12-year-old girl in Lowestoft

A 12-YEAR-OLD girl cycled away from a man who had asked her to get in his car in Lowestoft last night.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who was in St Peters Street around 9.

A 12-YEAR-OLD girl cycled away from a man who had asked her to get in his car in Lowestoft last night.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who was in St Peters Street around 9.30pm on Thursday, June 19 after the girl reported being approached by a man.

She was on her bike when a man approached her from a small black car and told her to get into the vehicle. The girl ignored him and cycled off.

Officers are asking anyone who may have been out in the area around this time to come forward. The white man is aged in his 30s, around 5ft 2ins to 5ft 5ins tall, with brown spiky hair and a mark, possibly a tattoo, on the side of his neck.
