Man and woman arrested after teenage girl assaulted in Lowestoft

TWO people have been arrested after trouble flared in an altercation in Lowestoft.

Police are seeking witnesses after an assault in the Greenfield Road area in the early hours of Friday, February 5.

An 18-year-old woman suffered a nose bleed and facial injuries as two people – a 24-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man – were arrested on suspicion of assault as police investigate exactly what happened.

Both those arrested have now been bailed to return to Lowestoft police station on March 11.

“Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen any altercation in the area in the early hours,” a police spokesman said.
