A 43-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman from Lowestoft have been arrested on suspicion of burglary following incidents at Avondale Road and Stevens Street overnight on Monday and Tuesday (January 14/15).
The two were arrested yesterday (Wednesday, January 16) in connection with the burglaries. A gold wedding band was stolen in the walk-in burglary at Avondale Road and a purse was stolen in another similar burglary at Stevens Street.
A police spokesman said: 'Both remain in custody where they are being interviewed by detectives.'
