Man arrested after caravan fire spreads to house in Lowestoft

A 24-year old man has been arrested after a caravan caught fire on Colville Road in Lowestoft this afternoon (Thursday).

Emergency services were called at about 1.50pm to the incident which is being treated as arson.

Two fire crews from Lowestoft South attended and found that the fire had spread to a house, but it was under control just after 2pm.

The man was taken into custody where he will be interviewed by officers.
